Refreshing and Healing Smoothie

Equipment

  • 1 Vitamix or Blender

Ingredients

  • 1 stalk celery cut into 1" pieces
  • 1 medium carrot cut into 1/2" slices
  • ½ large cucumber peeled and cut into chunks
  • 1 cup sparkling water or water
  • 6-7 strawberries hulled
  • ½ cup crushed ice or ice cubes
  • ¼ large lemon juiced
  • 1 tablespoon honey optional

Instructions

  • Add the ingredients to the Vitamix or blender in the order listed. Cover and blend on low speed for 30 seconds. Increase to medium high and continue to blend until the smoothie mixture is smooth and you can no longer hear the ice.
    Pour into a glass and enjoy a great start to a morning!
