There’s nothing quite as refreshing as a scoop of sorbetto– especially if it’s this Gluten Free Strawberry Sorbetto!
Here’s a recipe for an easy, healthy, no added processed sugar, dairy free dessert. Why not whip up a batch of this Refreshing Dairy Free and Gluten Free Strawberry Sorbetto on the next hot summer day?🍓🍨🍓🍨🍓
It’s not only refreshing, but this non-dairy frozen dessert is great for watching both your sugar and calorie consumption. I’ve used Califia Farms French Vanilla Almond Milk Creamer in the recipe. However, for a no processed sugar version, be sure to use unsweetened almond milk, unsweetened almond creamer, unsweetened canned coconut cream, or coconut creamer.
This frozen, tasty dessert is ready in a snap
Also, this healthy dessert is ready in just a snap! Add the ingredients to a Vitamix, food processor, or blender, starting with the liquid. Pulse or run the Vitamix or blender on a high speed, stirring down often. Blend until very smooth.
Serve immediately or freeze for one to two hours for a bit firmer sorbet. Or freeze in an airtight container to use at a later date in your favorite summer drinks. 🍹
Buy frozen strawberries and frozen mango or freeze your own
Freeze your own strawberries for this sorbetto. Simply buy fresh strawberries. Rinse and dry, then cut out the hull and stem. Lay out on a tray. Freeze until very firm, then move to freezer safe containers for later use.
You can also freeze mango cubes or buy already frozen bags of them.
I also like to freeze cantaloupe or honeydew bites to use in this sorbet, smoothies, and acai bowls.
You could also mix frozen raspberries in the sorbetto, in place of some of the mango or melon in the recipe.
